Biography

Dr. Mariah Mulligan brings with her a passion for pain-free movement and joyful practice. She uses evidence-based techniques and a diversified, patient-centered approach. She also believes in giving her patients the tools for self-management with an abundance of encouragement and support. With careful diagnosis and effective soft-tissue therapies, she keeps each patient’s goals at the center of every plan. Because she has faced musculoskeletal injuries herself, both personally and professionally, she understands the physical and emotional layers of recovery. Above all, she prioritizes your healing.

Mariah graduated with a Bachelors of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia where she was a Student Athletic Trainer for the Thunderbirds Men’s Volleyball team. She then graduated Magna Cum Lauda with her Doctor of Chiropractic and a Bachelors of Human Biology from the University of Western States in Portland and returned to British Columbia. Since then, Dr. Mariah has pursued continuing education in infant and pediatric care, McKenzie protocol, Functional Range Release, and Upper and Lower Neurodynamics.

A born and raised Vancouverite, Mariah spends time at the beach with her golden retriever – rain or shine. In the summer you can catch her wake surfing, golfing, playing beach volleyball, or water skiing. Winters, however, are spent mountain-side on snow skis or in a hot yoga studio pretending it’s still summertime. Dr. Mariah is accepting new patients. She is a family-oriented practitioner with a passion for athletes, pre and post-natal care, infant and toddler wellness, pediatrics, weekend warriors, and everyone in between.
