Registered with BC Association of Clinical Counsellors
Pavneet Sandhu feels honoured to walk alongside her clients in healing. She strongly believes people can transform and change for the better. In therapy, she creates a safe, accepting space where clients can share feelings, thoughts, and experiences. Pavneet finds it important to consider each client within their cultures. Her goal is to provide a culturally informed approach that aligns with what matters to each individual.
Pavneet is passionate about helping people experiencing grief, depression, anxiety, relationships issues and trauma-related stress. She uses person-centered, mindfulness based, narrative, gestalt and CBT approaches. She believes that no individual is ever the problem, she sees the problem in challenging situations that individuals get placed in. Pavneet provides the opportunity to explore emotional, mental, physical and social aspects that clients are struggling with.
Pavneet is aware that each client takes their own time in their unique healing processes. As such, she hopes to work collaboratively with her clients to create a tailored therapeutic approach so that she is able to meet each client’s needs to help them grow, heal and thrive in their own unique way. She strives to help individuals access their inner strengths and resources to better cope with their challenges. Her ultimate goal is to help her clients reach their version of what they want their life to look like and guide them towards that.
