Ayurvedic Treatments
What are Ayurvedic Treatments?
Ayurvedic Treatments are holistic healing practices originating from ancient Indian medicine. These treatments focus on balancing the mind, body, and spirit to promote overall health and well-being by relaxing the nervous system, restoring balance, and promoting physical, mental, and emotional wellness.
At Restore, our Ayurvedic Practitioner Anna offers Head Massage (Shiro Abhyanga), Body Massage (Abhyanga), Nasya, and Karna Purna. Anna’s treatments are unique due to her integration of energy healing which transcend physical relaxation to allow for deeper holistic healing.
The Three Ayurveda Doshas
Doshas are a key principle in Ayurveda, representing three core energies that influence the body, mind, and spirit. These energies, known as Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, are each linked to distinct physical traits and mental tendencies. Rooted in the five elements (water, earth, air, fire, and space), they play a significant role in shaping overall health and balance.
