I am very much someone who “eats my feelings”. When things aren’t going well…my will power for anything salty or chocolate is non existent, even when I know I’ll feel better of I make different choices.
Last year when my mom was sick, I definitely ate things that weren’t good choices and I paid for them as my body really doesn’t like those foods. I didn’t care, I needed to eat my feelings and try and deal with them. Thankfully it was short lived and I got back on track
Not surprised, but reaffirms what about food choices when I sleep better. When I don’t have a good night sleep, I definitely find it hardest to make choices that are more conducive to my goals. On nights that I don’t sleep well, higher sugar food are harder to say no to….which leads to me to being more and grumpy.
I like making overnight oats too. I usually use oat milk in mine, with a 1/2 teaspoon on maple syrup and then frozen berries added before i leave for school. Similar to the above recipe, but with a few small changes.

The info around the cold water “dunks” was very interesting…but I still don’t know if it’s for me 🤔
Salt and vinegar chips

I definitely do t get enough “good” fats as I’m not a fan of many of the sources , or they are “tricky” in my home and workplace.
I’m going to make an effort tomorrow when I grocery shop to find some to add to my cart.
Not enough – today, I tracked and I got around 90g – this isn’t a typical day, and I know that I need more.
The Greek yogurt, almonds and pumpkin seeds make it high in protein.
Last night, for desert – I had Greek yogurt with slivered almonds, pumpkin seeds and a few chocolate chips. So yummy and satisfied my sweet craving.
