Late to this post. Some days are certainly better than others, but I find it hard to balance coffee and water….i am guilty of drinking more coffee than water some days. Easiest time for me to drink water is during a weight training (not dance can’t handle the sloshing) or study/homework time

Goal #1 eating without a screen!
I am a mindless scroller when I am eating or snacking. It feels like I use this time as an excuse to scroll, haha. I love food, but definitely this habit doesn’t allow me to track my portions sizes leading to me eating more than I would like to. I am also not able to connect to my body and feel when I am getting full. I don’t get to enjoy the experience of nourishing my body or appreciate it.

It would be great to make eating a time to pause and check in with myself and my surroundings. Maybe a time to just breathe and reset as well. My mid day snack, after a class or when I get home feels like the right time to try this.

I am currently trying “dotFit Whey Smooth” which is okay, it’s a brand I am trying out, they have different products for different fitness goals. It’s NSF certified, Krysta I don’t know if you know anything about that testing? or do you think that is the same third-party testing?

Screen Time!
I am guilty of being on my phone and computer pretty close to the time I fall asleep. I don’t have trouble staying asleep but lately the mind has been very busy.
I would like to work on building a night time routine and that will begin with putting my screens away 1 hour before I go to bed.

Also overnight oats….

“Blueberry Muffin”
1/2 cup of Oats
1/2 cup of Almond milk
1 scoop of Birthday Cake Protein Powder
1/3 cup frozen blueberries
1tbsp maple syrup

“Pumpkin Spice”
1/2 cup of Oats
1/2 cup of Almond milk
1 scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder
1tbsp Pumpkin spice
2 tbsp Delight Pumpkin Spice coffee creamer

Roasted Chickpea Snack “Ranch” Flavor (thank you Pinterest)

1tsp garlic powder
1tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried dill
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp salt

preheat oven 450 degrees F
wash and dry (well) chickpeas
in a bowl coat chickpeas with 1 tbsp of olive oil and mix half of the seasoning
spread chickpeas evenly on a pan
cook for 20-30 mins, make sure to stir them around every 10 mins till golden brown
covered with the rest of the seasoning
