Dr. Karandeep Athwal began his studies at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC. He completed three years toward a Bachelor of Science degree. Then, he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic (Honours) from Palmer College of Chiropractic – West Campus in San Jose, California.
His interest in sports therapy started after he rehabilitated a serious ankle injury at a young age. Later on, work with the BC Athletic Commission reinforced that interest. He met combat-sport athletes who risked their bodies, valued rehab, and prioritized prevention to stay at peak performance.
Focusing on an evidence based approach, Dr. Athwal’s treatment prioritizes soft tissue therapies and corrective exercises. He uses a variety of techniques such as Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Active Release Techniques (ART), Myofascial decompression cupping (MFD), spinal and extremity manipulation/mobilization and Percussion Therapy. He is a member of the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS). Currently, he is working towards earning his International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic (ICSC).

Vineeth Venugopal (Vin) is a registered physical therapist with more than 15 years of experience who graduated from the Mahatma Gandhi University in India. “Patients First “ is his guiding motto. Vin brings a steady, hands-on style to every physiotherapy treatment. He combines several manual therapy techniques, IMS (needling), corrective exercises, and other evidence-based modalities of treatment. He creates an individualized treatment plan for each person that is safe, clear, and effective. His focus is simple: find the root cause and fix the root cause.
Vin has worked closely with top orthopaedic and Neurological specialists and surgeons. As a result, he understands complex medical conditions at a deeper level. He likes to explain the mechanics of the problem and he believes that “unless you know whats wrong in your system, it’s a hard fix “.
Apart from musculoskeletal, his areas of interest include Neuro, Cardio Pulmonary (COPD/asthma) Rehab, setting baselines, and writing exercise plans to improve quality of life. In India, Vin led the hospital’s physiotherapy department. That role sharpened his diagnosis and treatment skills and cemented his “go the extra mile” approach.
Vin is a team player who likes to collaborate with the care team to find the best solution for each client/patient. During his free time Vin loves to play cricket, walk his dog, and hike.

Brenna Richardson has her Level One and Level Two training in Usui Reiki as well as 200-hour YTT, and is taking new clients. Book with Brenna today to experience this tranquil and serene treatment. Reiki will flow to targeted areas as needed after an initial energy scan. Brenna prefers a “hands-on” method of treatment, she will discuss this with you before your appointment and ensure that you are comfortable, otherwise she will perform the healing with a “hover hands” method.

Chase Head grew up active, playing sports and enjoying the outdoors. As this passion grew, his focus shifted from general fitness to holistic well-being. Having struggled through sport-related injuries and lasting back pain, Chase understands what it takes to live pain-free without compromise. His fascination with the science of athletic performance and injury recovery led him to become an ACE certified personal trainer. Now he helps people pursue peak performance and well-being.
When he trains clients, Chase targets underlying dysfunctions so they reach their goals efficiently and effectively through insightful programming and quality form. Chase values continuous education and continually elevates his clients’ athletic capabilities to their highest potential. His primary goals are to help people feel good and perform better—whether someone is managing daily pain or competing at the top of their game.
Manvir (Manna) Sandhu knows the benefits of physiotherapy firsthand. At fourteen, he sustained a lower-back injury. Medications didn’t resolve the pain, so he visited a physiotherapist. That care treated the injury and gave him back to competitive sport. He competed in AAA boys high school basketball, competitive roller hockey and BC touch football. Later, Manna went on to attain his Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia (UBC). His goal: give others the same second chance through education, manual therapy and active rehabilitation.
Manna has been involved in sport for most of his life and currently provides physiotherapy support for a broad range of athletes including: the Field Hockey Canada senior women’s national team, Surrey Knights (Junior A hockey), and the World Kickboxing XTRM pro stable of fighters. In addition to treating orthopaedic injuries, Manna also specializes in concussion management, vestibular disorders, and has attained additional training in dry needling & advanced manual therapy.
In his spare time, Manna plays basketball and practices martial arts to embody an active lifestyle and continue to fuel his passion for sport.
Chris Krammer is a Registered Physiotherapist, former NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, and avid human performance enthusiast. Inspired by his love of sports and training, he pursued a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology at UBC. During his undergraduate, Chris trained older adults and served as a Student Strength Coach for the UBC Varsity Athletes. Over time, he became frustrated by the impact of recurrent pain and injury on his clients and athletes. As a result, he obtained a Masters in Physical Therapy at UBC. He aimed to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to help solve the problems that limited his clients’ performance and enjoyment of life.
Since graduating in 2019, Chris has built a successful physiotherapy practice in Vancouver and Richmond. Now, Chris has been with Restore Rehab and Wellness for over two years. He shares what he’s learned and guides people through rehabilitation. His goal: give each person practical tools to take control of their health.
Chris blends manual therapy with strategic therapeutic exercise. In each session, he helps clients reconnect with their bodies and find flow. He aims to remove pain barriers and open the door to new levels of performance and a deeper enjoyment of life.
Outside the clinic, Chris enjoys woodworking, metalworking, painting, and finding his own moments of flow through snowboarding and training jiu jitsu.
Leanne Barling received her Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) designation from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She has experience in treating a wide variety of conditions using a variety of techniques including Swedish massage, trigger point release, myofascial release, passive and active stretching, and joint mobilizations to address each patient’s individual needs. Leanne strives to build strong, therapeutic relationships and work together with her clients to maximize trust and communication with one another
Outside of the clinic, Leanne enjoys being outdoors and staying active through running, swimming, hiking, lifting weights, and skiing. In the summer months, you will find her at the lake soaking up the sun and the winter months in the mountains skiing!
Brad Chu became a Registered Massage Therapist after gaining experience as a Personal Trainer and graduating with a degree in Human Kinetics from Trinity Western University. Together, these give him a strong foundation in movement and recovery.
Because Brad understands how the body adapts to stress, he prioritizes relaxation and therapeutic touch in every session. Through massage therapy, he helps people reduce tension, move with less pain, and support a healthy lifestyle. Over the years, he has worked with clients from many backgrounds. He takes pride in helping patients overcome physical limitations and return to the activities they love.
Previously, Brad worked at Hartwell Therapy & Wellness in Vancouver.
Outside the clinic, Brad can be found weightlifting, fishing, or planning his next surf trip somewhere warm.
Simrit Gill has been a certified ACSM Personal Trainer since 2015 and has worked at multiple different clinics before landing at Restore. He attended the University of Victoria where he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology specializing in neuroanatomy and behavioural psychology.
Sim followed his stint at UVIC by attending the University of Fraser Valley in order to meet the requirements to become a Certified Kinesiologist.
Now working as a member of the BCAK, Sim is aspiring to become an Osteopathic Practitioner in order to provide manual therapy in addition to his skilled set of movement training.

Pavneet Sandhu feels honoured to walk alongside her clients in healing. She strongly believes people can transform and change for the better. In therapy, she creates a safe, accepting space where clients can share feelings, thoughts, and experiences. Pavneet finds it important to consider each client within their cultures. Her goal is to provide a culturally informed approach that aligns with what matters to each individual.
Pavneet is passionate about helping people experiencing grief, depression, anxiety, relationships issues and trauma-related stress. She uses person-centered, mindfulness based, narrative, gestalt and CBT approaches. She believes that no individual is ever the problem, she sees the problem in challenging situations that individuals get placed in. Pavneet provides the opportunity to explore emotional, mental, physical and social aspects that clients are struggling with.
Pavneet is aware that each client takes their own time in their unique healing processes. As such, she hopes to work collaboratively with her clients to create a tailored therapeutic approach so that she is able to meet each client’s needs to help them grow, heal and thrive in their own unique way. She strives to help individuals access their inner strengths and resources to better cope with their challenges. Her ultimate goal is to help her clients reach their version of what they want their life to look like and guide them towards that.

Dr. “PJ” Pezhman Azad brings over two decades of medical experience to his practice. After seven years of medical education in Iran, he practiced as a Family Physician for twelve years. During that time, he worked across hospital and clinic settings and gained extensive experience. However, acute and emergency care underscored the strengths of Western medicine, but also revealed its limits with chronic conditions.
Motivated by a passion for holistic health and preventive care, Dr. Azad continued his medical journey in Canada. He earned his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). Today, he is a licensed naturopathic doctor in British Columbia.

Dr. Mariah Mulligan brings with her a passion for pain-free movement and joyful practice. She uses evidence-based techniques and a diversified, patient-centered approach. She also believes in giving her patients the tools for self-management with an abundance of encouragement and support. With careful diagnosis and effective soft-tissue therapies, she keeps each patient’s goals at the center of every plan. Because she has faced musculoskeletal injuries herself, both personally and professionally, she understands the physical and emotional layers of recovery. Above all, she prioritizes your healing.
Mariah graduated with a Bachelors of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia where she was a Student Athletic Trainer for the Thunderbirds Men’s Volleyball team. She then graduated Magna Cum Lauda with her Doctor of Chiropractic and a Bachelors of Human Biology from the University of Western States in Portland and returned to British Columbia. Since then, Dr. Mariah has pursued continuing education in infant and pediatric care, McKenzie protocol, Functional Range Release, and Upper and Lower Neurodynamics.
A born and raised Vancouverite, Mariah spends time at the beach with her golden retriever – rain or shine. In the summer you can catch her wake surfing, golfing, playing beach volleyball, or water skiing. Winters, however, are spent mountain-side on snow skis or in a hot yoga studio pretending it’s still summertime. Dr. Mariah is accepting new patients. She is a family-oriented practitioner with a passion for athletes, pre and post-natal care, infant and toddler wellness, pediatrics, weekend warriors, and everyone in between.
