Massage Therapy

WHAT IS MASSAGE THERAPY?

Massage therapy is a manual therapeutic discipline which manipulates the soft tissues of the body including: muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints with the goal of restoring function, reducing pain and promoting overall bodily wellness.

Our RMTs here at Restore Rehabilitation and Wellness use a wide variety of massage treatments, including Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and neuromuscular techniques to help their clients reach their unique treatment goals.

Our RMTs undergo an extensive education to ensure they are ready to treat a multitude to patient conditions and concerns including but not limited to:

Sports related injuries, movement related challenges, workplace aches & strains, prenatal & postpartum care, arthritic conditions, jaw pain (TMJD) & motor vehicle accidents (ICBC).

WHAT TO EXPECT AT MASSAGE THERAPY

During your massage therapy session at Restore Rehabilitation and Wellness our Massage Therapists (RMTs), will: complete a detailed initial health interview in order to understand your condition, an assessment specific to your condition, creation of a treatment plan & execution of care, followed by guidance on how to maintain better health through at-home exercises, stretching, and postural awareness.

All of our RMTs are accepting new patients, including ICBC patients.
