File your claim with WorkSafeBC (WCB) and get your claim number.

Book your WCB treatment assessment with Restore. Make sure you have that claim number ready to give us. If you have treatment before WCB has accepted your claim, you will have to pay upfront and get reimbursed after. 

Begin your workplace injury recovery with your Restore practitioner who will create a comprehensive personalized treatment plan for you. Plus, we can direct bill to WCB for you – we just need your claim number.

What’s Covered

WorkSafeBC allows an initial assessment within 60 days of injury for workers with an accepted or pending claim.

Before treatment beyond the assessment, confirm that the claim has been accepted. Any treatment before claim acceptance might have to be paid for upfront.

What are the terms of WCB coverage?

  • You don’t need a doctor’s referral before getting Physiotherapy or Chiropractic treatment. However, sometimes a referral is needed for Massage Therapy (RMT) treatment, talk to your WCB rep for confirmation.

  • Approved claims are eligible for treatment within 60 days of your injury or accident.

  • Once WCB accepts your claim, you can receive up to six treatments within the first eight weeks from the date of your injury.

  • Approval is required for any treatment beyond eight weeks.

  • You cannot receive concurrent treatment for the same injury.

WorkSafeBC will only cover one treatment type per injury. Call us to find out what treatment type will be best-suited for your injury, or talk to your WCB Case Manager to discuss your options.

Yes, you can start WorkSafeBC (WCB) related treatment right away. However, you may have to pay upfront and get reimbursed once your claim is approved.

You do not need a referral for WorkSafe Physiotherapy or WorkSafe Chiropractic, however, a referral may be required for WorkSafe Massage Therapy. Talk to your WCB Case Manager if you are unsure, or contact Restore.
