I have always wanted to feel good in my body and reduce the health risks that I a genetically predisposed to; especially after this last year.
Being injured right now, I have really have to play with some dials and focus on other things and I’m seeing different results than I expected. I miss my workouts, they are my mental health too, but other things are also important.
This video also reminded me of a picture I saw today. It was a side by side of a body builder who spent 6 months restricting food and the next one was 1 week of not. It was shocking!!
Late to this post. Some days are certainly better than others, but I find it hard to balance coffee and water….i am guilty of drinking more coffee than water some days. Easiest time for me to drink water is during a weight training (not dance can’t handle the sloshing) or study/homework time
Thanks for hosting the challenge and offering up your nuggets of wisdom! I look forward to a free training session with Krysta, so I will be watching for the feedback form. Happy Saturday!
An old friend of mine is a fitness model (and also a police officer and mother of two young kids). I don’t know how she does it, and I most definitely would NOT want her lifestyle. I can’t imagine the sacrifices she makes on a daily basis. As I approach my mid 40s, I am more of the mindset that I need to lose weight, eat healthier, and improve my cardio so I don’t end up with heart disease and diabetes. I willingly make *some* sacrifices (probably more than most people I know), but it can’t be all I think about and do.
Thank you for another year of wonderful information

I actually prefer my BMI to my Dexa Scan results…haha…
(But, yes, I know that BMI is irrelevant).
I’m *allowed*, to have a water bottle, but I can’t leave to use the washroom, and I have a small bladder so it’s best not to drink anything at all.
Me too – which is why this is absolute garbage!!
